Southwest & Tropical has quality furniture, home decor, pottery, fountains, a garden center and gifts. Our business is dedicated to providing our customers quality products at fair and reasonable prices with full services available. We desire satisfied and repeat customers that are looking for quality and service. We are family run and take a lot of pride in serving customers.

Our Company

Southwest & Tropical started in July 1991 when Warren, Patti and the children moved from California to Florida where they opened Southwest Design. In December 2001 this web site was created and has expanded ever since.

On February 1, 2004 Ron and Dorothy Herbinger changed the name to Southwestern Accents and expanded the business to include additional furniture lines, metal and leather decor, along with talavera art and clay pottery.

In 2005 the company changed names and focus to Southwest & Tropical, Inc. and moved the business to over an acre of property at 5635 State Road 54, between Grand Blvd. and Madison St., New Port Richey. Ron & Dorothy Herbinger, the owners, expanded the lines to include fountains, glazed pottery, gazebos and other garden statuary and decor to add to the indoor home design products and furniture.
